Rules of the grounds
Good to know
What applies on the Wilde Möhre grounds applies at Lusatia too. Opening hours, shuttle and Lusatia ticket rules follow.
Ground rules
The festival stands for peaceful coexistence, consideration and tolerance. Violence, weapons, sexism, homophobia and racism have no place here; guests who behave this way are removed from the grounds. People from the far right or violent scenes are not admitted.
Care and awareness
On these grounds, care is everywhere. You should feel safe and seen, not through control but through a team that is there for you. The care team wears green vests, the care zone is right at the entrance, with a quiet place to retreat if it gets too much. If you or someone near you is not doing well, say “Panama” to anyone from the care team. We help immediately, no questions, no shame, no trouble. Medics are on site for medical cases.
Youth protection and minimum age
Still open for Lusatia
German youth protection law applies on the grounds. People under 18 may enter only accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; signed parental notes are not accepted. Under 16 must leave the festival area by 10 pm, between 16 and 18 by midnight. Whether Lusatia 2027 sets its own minimum age or offers children tickets is still to be confirmed.
Getting there
By train: the station is Calau (Niederlausitz). From Berlin the RE7 runs from Ostbahnhof without changing, from Leipzig the RE10 from the main station without changing. Use bahn.de for connections. At Wilde Möhre festivals a shuttle with its own ticket runs between Calau station and the grounds; whether and when it runs for Lusatia is still to be confirmed. By car: Göritz 5, 03116 Drebkau, Germany. Park only in the designated areas; the cemetery car park in Casel, the environmental centre at Gräbendorfer See and the area in front of the fire station are off limits.
Camping
Camping for the festival weekend is part of the ticket. Cars are not allowed on the camping areas; there is a car park and a separate campervan area, each with one pass per vehicle. Boomboxes, PAs and sound systems are banned on the campsite, it is meant to be a quiet place. Leave your pitch as you found it and use the toilets. Campsite opening hours and pass prices for Lusatia follow.
Fire and smoking
Forest fire risk is high in summer. Open fires and barbecues are prohibited on the campsite by the authorities, as is smoking close to the forest. Bring a pocket ashtray and remind others not to smoke near the trees.
Glass bottles and your own drinks
Glass bottles are not allowed on the festival grounds because they get left behind, break and cause cuts. Drinking water is free at all times. Your own drinks without glass are fine. Keep in mind that the festival depends on income from food and drinks.
Paying
The grounds are cashless; all common debit and credit cards are accepted. A small kiosk on the grounds sells what you forgot. There are no lockers, leave valuables at home.
Swimming and nature
The grounds sit on Gräbendorfer See. The island in the lake is a European bird sanctuary and must not be entered, nor any shore marked as a nature reserve. No fires, no shampoo or shower gel in the lake, take your rubbish with you. The succession landscape Nebendorf south and west of the grounds is a restricted area with real danger to life. The nature authority and the town of Drebkau check and fine violations.
Environment, confetti, graffiti, animals
No rubbish, bottles or cigarette butts in nature. Confetti and glitter are microplastics and stay at home. Tags and scribbles on huts and trees are not wanted. Please leave animals at home, the noise and the crowds only stress them. The whole site uses composting toilets with wooden seats and sawdust.
Accessibility
The grounds are very uneven; especially in rain we cannot guarantee accessibility. People with disabilities can bring a companion free of charge; bring proof and show it at the help desk.
Photos and recordings
Audio, photo and video recordings are not permitted except for private use. Please keep cameras and phones away so nobody feels watched. For commercial requests write to kommunikation [at] wildemoehre.org.
Noise
At night we measure the level at the nearest houses and adjust the floors, depending on weather and wind. The neighbours live with several festival weekends a year; please bear with us.
Drugs
The use and sale of illegal drugs is not tolerated. Dealers are removed from the grounds and reported.
Liability and force majeure
Every guest is liable for damage they cause. Lost wristbands are not replaced. The organiser’s liability is limited to intent and gross negligence; liability for injury to life, body or health and for essential contractual duties remains unaffected. The event may be stopped in weather that endangers body and health.
Tickets, solidarity and refunds
Still open for Lusatia
Tickets are sold by Xceed. Questions about orders go to the ticket provider’s support; the contact appears here with the presale. Solidarity tickets, supporter tickets, tickets for local residents and the refund rules for Lusatia 2027 are still to be confirmed.
Accommodation and power
If you would rather not camp: raus und gut and Camp Casel are right by Gräbendorfer See. There is guest wifi with limited capacity; charging points are few, bring a power bank.
